Unlabelled Films is a BAFTA-nominated production company working across the UK, France, and Switzerland. Filmmaker Léa Luiz de Oliveira founded the company to tell stories that matter, prioritising ethical filmmaking and creative innovation. Through award-winning documentaries, dramas, and multidisciplinary work, we explore social justice, trauma, and resilience, as well as joy and creative healing in marginalised communities. We collaborate with people who inspire us to tell stories we deeply care about.

Recent projects include the BAFTA-nominated short Friends on the Outside by Annabel Moodie and Mother’s Influence, directed by Meg Wriggles, which premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and will have its international premiere at Slamdance in 2026.

Unlabelled Films’ current slate includes the short drama Bubbles by BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Jagoda Tłok, as part of the 2025 NFTS Sean Connery Talent Lab; the feature documentary Miracle Hill by Annabel Moodie, selected for Eurodoc 2026; and Bamboo in the Wind by Sophie Van Bree for Bridging the Gap.
