Birth Parents (2025)

A series of short films uncovering the hidden stories of birth parents who have lost custody of their children. Written by the women themselves and brought to life with toys as stand-ins for people, the films navigate experiences of domestic violence, addiction, and systemic failure. With tenderness and distance, they create space to reflect on trauma while revealing the humanity, love, and grief so often erased from public perception.
